About
I’m Eden, the owner and operator of Expert Pest Control Services. I have spent more than 10 years in the pest control industry, from working in the field to training technicians and managing service teams.
From Technician to Owner
I didn’t start Expert Pest Control Services because I wanted to build another big pest control company. I started it because I wanted to take everything I’ve learned over the years and put it directly into the service I provide.
I’ve spent more than a decade working in the pest control industry. I have been a technician, a trainer, and a regional service manager. I’ve worked in homes, apartments, businesses, and some pretty challenging environments.
Along the way, I have trained technicians, helped build service teams to cover multi-state areas, and even written the service manual to train all technicians how to do the job correctly.
Eventually, I realized I wanted to get back to the part of the job I enjoyed most: helping people by solving their pest problems.
What I Learned in the Field
-
I honed my rodent control skills in downtown Baltimore, working in buildings that were in disrepair with piles of trash outside.
Those environments taught me quickly that effective rodent control isn’t simply putting out traps. You have to understand how rodents move through a building, where they’re getting in, what’s attracting them, and what needs to change to keep them from coming back.
-
For four years, I specialized in stinging Insects. That meant spending a lot of time learning how different species behave, where they build nests, how colonies use structures, and how to safely deal with them.
That experience is particularly useful when dealing with wasps because finding the nest and understanding what you’re dealing with can be just as important as the treatment itself.
-
My experience hasn’t been limited to treating pests. I have also trained technicians, built five star service teams, developed service processes, and managed large scale pest control operations.
That experience taught me something important: good pest control isn’t just about knowing which product to use. It’s about diagnosing the problem correctly, having a multi-layered service, and giving customers a service they can trust.
Why I Do Things Differently
Expert Pest Control Services is intentionally built around one experienced operator.
When you contact me, you’re talking directly to the person responsible for your service. I don’t have a sales team promising one thing and a technician showing up to do another. I don’t rotate customers between a dozen technicians.
The person you hire is the person who shows up.
That allows me to keep the quality of service personal and gives me direct accountability for every job I complete.
Pest Control With a Purpose
Pests are a part of the world around us. Some naturally find their way onto a property. Others become more common because of landscaping, construction, moisture, food sources, or other conditions around a home or business. And some pest problems simply require ongoing protection to keep them under control.
That’s why I don’t believe in a one size fits all approach to pest control.
I use a multi-layered service approach designed to address the pest from multiple angles and provide lasting results. Depending on what you’re dealing with, that may include inspection, targeted treatment, monitoring, exclusion, habitat modification, or ongoing service.
The goal isn’t simply to treat what you can see. It’s to understand why the pest is present, what level of control is appropriate, and what combination of services will give you the results you’re looking for.
And pest control isn’t just a job for me. It’s my way of helping people. Whether you need help with a single pest problem or want ongoing protection for your home or business, I want you to feel confident that the service you’re paying for has a purpose.
I also don’t believe in selling service plans just because I can. If you don’t need ongoing service, I’ll tell you. If you do want ongoing service protection, I can customize a service plan around the pests you’re actually concerned about — whether that’s regular seasonal service or something as simple as annual treatment.
The right pest control plan is the one that solves your problem without giving you more service than you need.
